Head Instructor: Jeremiah Claybrooks

Born and raised in Evansville Indiana, Jeremiah Claybrooks grew up playing baseball, basketball and wrestling. Shortly after graduating from the Art Institute of Atlanta in 2001, Jeremiah was introduced to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and immediately fell in love with the art. (Click here to view whole story 😉 Originally joining for weight loss and physical fitness, Jeremiah became obsessed with Jiu-Jitsu and eventually added Muay Thai Kickboxing on to his training. He went from white to black in both styles under Master Eddie Camden of the famed Tiger Academy in Roswell GA.

In 2016 Jeremiah decided to follow his passion and founded East Cobb Martial Arts. He still has as much passion for the martial arts as he did in 2001 and is happy to finally give back something that has given him so much. By day, Jeremiah still designs websites and graphics but by night you can find him conducting classes at ECMA. When he’s not designing websites or teaching class he loves spending time with his wife, two daughters and five pets!
